Our philosophy

Storytime

We strive to provide holistic development for our children by cultivating a unique learning environment which is supported by:

  1. Unique learning experiences – We believe in supporting the learning needs of all children that will instill curiosity and wonder. We will create opportunities for every child to be their best. This will be achieved through considered curriculum planning and a strong connection to the natural environment to support the developmental need of every child.

  2. Holistic development approach – We acknowledge that every child is unique and requires varied education and care. Our intent is to cultivate the social, emotional, physical and intellectual development of children through our holistic approach to development

  3. Collaborative partnerships – It is important to us that we develop and sustain positive partnerships with a range of people and organisations to continually provide exceptional education and care for our children and their families. This allows us to work with children, families, organization when supporting children and families in our care to become respected citizens and custodians of the future.

  4. Voice of the child – We will provide many platforms for our children to advocate for themselves, their peers and the community. Our curriculum will be established and designed so every child will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to their learning. We will engage in experiences that promote advocacy and the voice of the child. We believe in and respect the rights of the child through the ‘UN Convention of the Rights of the Child.’

  5. Equity and Diversity –We promote and encourage people to be themselves and celebrate their identity. We celebrate equity and diversity by ensuring that our wider community feels comfortable and connected to our community.
